The first monography on Hella Jongerius was published by Phaidon in 2003, 10 years after she started her design studio Jongeriuslab. The book contains photos by Joke Roobaard that show Jongerius’ work in it’s context, such as her studio, at the manufacturers and at the homes of her collectors. Author Louise Schouwenberg wrote an ‘interview that might have taken place’ that addresses the main themes in Jongerius’ work.
